Mysore – waking, sleeping

Living at one of the highest points in the city, that too unhindered by a concrete jungle has its advantages.

Some pictures of Mysore waking up and sleeping (shot at different times of the year). This is the best I could do with the birthday-party camera I own, please excuse.

Sunrise in winter is challenging to capture, since waking up is a big issue.

In the winter, the sun rises directly from behind the Chamundi Hills. Like you can see, nothing between me and the horizon.

Slightly tilted, apologies.

The sun quite literally pours out from behind the hill, quite a pleasure to watch.

If  the sunrise is beautiful, the sunsets are nothing less than spectacular. Taken in the beginning of the rainy season, May end.
